CaSE is a voluntary organisation financed solely by its members. We currently
have approximately 1000 individual members, over 20 companies, 20
scientific
societies and 40 universities.
CaSE is governed by an Executive Committee elected by our members. Headed
by the Chairman, Professor Hugh Griffiths FREng, the Committee meets
three
times
a year to discuss policy and make plans for further campaigns. The Advisory
Council is a group of distinguished individuals who lend their experience
and support to the Campaign and advise our policies. CaSE is run by a small
secretariat led by its Director, Imran Khan.
Interns
CaSE will be appointing a series of short-term interns. As well as getting
background experience researching and writing on science policy issues,
we hope that interns will be able to participate in a range of activities.
If
you are interested in joining CaSE for an internship, please write to
us with a cv, examples of your writing, and cover letter explaining
why you are interested in working with CaSE. We will be appointing people
on a rolling basis so welcome applications at any time.
If an organisation
would like to sponsor a CaSE intern, possibly working on a particular project,
or if they would like to sponsor one of their
own members or employees to spend time with CaSE, then please do get
in touch. Unfortunately, without additional support, we are only able
cover intern’s travel and lunch costs.
