CaSE and the Royal Society of Edinburgh invite you to attend a discussion event on the Scottish research landscape in Edinburgh on Thursday 7th March.
The panel discussion, with input from the audience, will examine the key challenges and opportunities facing the Scottish research base both from a UK-wide and devolved perspective, across a range of issues including funding, its allocation and the connectivity between UK and Scottish research policy and priorities.
Panellists confirmed for the event include:
- Professor Dame Anne Glover, President, Royal Society of Edinburgh
- Professor Graeme Reid, Chair, Campaign for Science and Engineering, and Chair of Science and Research Policy, University College London
- Dr Stuart Fancey, Director of Research and Innovation, Scottish Funding Council
- Dr Alex Marsh, Deputy Director, UKRI
The discussion will be chaired by RSE Chief Executive Dr Rebekah Widdowfield.
