CaSE are delighted to welcome Empiribox, Jisc, Ulster University and the University of London as new organisational members.

Commenting on today's announcement, Dr Sarah Main, Executive Director of the Campaign for the Science and Engineering, said:

"Empiribox, Jisc, Ulster University and the University of London each play a prominent role within the UK’s broad science and engineering sector, from underpinning top-quality academic research to providing innovative STEM learning. I am delighted to welcome such distinguished and dynamic organisations into our growing membership. I look forward to working closely with all four and know that their voices will add great weight to ours."

Ivor Tucker, Strategic Partnerships Director, Empiribox:

"Empiribox is delighted to join CaSE and looks forward to working with other members to implement our vision to inspire future generations of young pupils aged 5-11 with the wonders and joy of scientific discovery, by engaging them in hands-on practical investigations and demonstrations every week through their primary school years."

"The UK has a wonderful science heritage and it is incumbent on the whole community to ensure that our youngest members become aware of and are inspired by the opportunities that lie before them in STEM activities.  We are also keen to work with CaSE members to demonstrate how the theoretical lessons pupils study link to practical activities that companies implement every day in the course of doing business."

Paul Feldman, Chief Executive, Jisc:

"A digitally advanced education and research sector will be crucial for the future success of UK science and engineering. I am delighted to join CaSE and look forward to working with the campaign to ensure the UK has the skills, infrastructure, funding and policies it needs to secure the future of such a vital sector."

Professor Cathy Gormley-Heenan, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research & Impact), Ulster University:

"We are delighted to be a member of the Campaign for Science and Engineering. At Ulster University we provide a rich, innovative and enabling environment to support the next generation of scientists and engineers.  We look forward to working collaboratively with CaSE and its members and help maintain the UK’s status as being one of the best places in the world for science and engineering."

Professor Sir Adrian Smith, Vice-Chancellor, University of London, said:

"The University of London is delighted to support CaSE in its work to champion science and engineering. As one of the largest, most diverse universities in the UK, science and engineering underpins much of the high-quality teaching and research that we provide. We look forward to adding our voice to CaSE’s membership in supporting these crucial issues."
