Building on our programme of work on the UK Government's target to increase R&D intensity to 2.4% of GDP by 2027, CaSE is carrying out a project of work examining the impact of place-based regional investment on local economic growth. This includes the publishing of a major report The Power of Place, as well as roundtable write-ups from an extensive 18 month consultation exercise, and a series of ‘thought pieces’ highlighting how increased support for R&D will benefit local economies.
