Criteria for ten-year R&D funding announced
19 May 2025
A common thread across many recent CaSE reports and our analysis has been the call for the UK Government to provide a long-term sustainable policy platform that allows the R&D sector to thrive. Ten-year budgets are a positive step in this direction, and I welcome the clarity around eligibility criteria provided in today’s publication. In particular, the focus on shoring up the skills pipeline and fostering collaboration with and investment from businesses, are pleasing to see. We look forward to working with government as these plans are implemented in practice.
