The Campaign for Science and Engineering (CaSE) is the leading independent voice for UK R&D

We are a charity supported by a diverse membership including businesses, universities, professional bodies, research charities and individuals. Our members span the whole breadth of R&D – including discovery research, science, engineering, and innovation across the public, private, and charitable sectors.

Evidence led

We are evidence led. We use our expertise and analysis to make a compelling case for R&D to be a national priority, and demonstrate the social, economic and cultural importance of R&D.

Independent

We are independent. We are a non-partisan and agile organisation. We use our trusted voice and extensive connections with policymakers across the political spectrum to deliver a positive difference for the R&D sector and society.

Collaborative

We are collaborative. We use our convening power to connect our members, partners and the public, and use these diverse perspectives to maximise our impact.
