CaSE’s 40th Anniversary: Reimagining R&D

On February 10th 2026 we will be holding a conference celebrate CaSE’s 40th anniversary and look ahead at the future of UK R&D.

As both the global and national picture for R&D continues to change, CaSE wants to celebrate 40 years of advocating for the sector by looking at what the future might hold in the coming decades.

To do this, and as an evolution of our flagship Annual Lecture, CaSE is looking to engage the R&D sector in a more comprehensive way. CaSE is hosting a conference where attendees will hear from panels of experts discussing the important issues facing UK R&D, concluding with a keynote lecture.

From public to policy, we want to explore some of the key voices that will shape the future of UK R&D.
