CaSE is pleased to invite members to hear the results of our landmark new study, Public Attitudes to R&D 2025.
This exclusive session, from 10-11am on Thursday 6 November, gives our members a chance to hear about the results before they are published on 11 November.
CaSE’s major new study explores how the public thinks and feels about R&D and has taken in the views of more than 8,000 UK adults, building on CaSE’s extensive public opinion research programme.
It is the first step to creating a large and robust data series that tracks attitudes to R&D as a political issue over time, ensuring our sector can monitor and respond to trends and risks. The insights will also identify ways we can strengthen the connection between the R&D community and the public, boosting public support and helping to bolster political support.
The tracker studies combine large, nationally representative polling with qualitative research to explore awareness of R&D, attitudes to investment and the perceived benefits of R&D at a range of scales, along with views on place, trust and engagement.
At the webinar members will hear a summary of the results and have chance to discuss the results and their implications with the CaSE team and other CaSE members from across the R&D sector.
