CaSE response to Horizon Europe proposal

07 Jun 2018

CaSE has responded to the European Commission’s proposal for Horizon Europe, the research and innovation programme that will succeed Horizon 2020.

Commenting, CaSE Deputy Director Naomi Weir said:

“Research and innovation is a global endeavour and it is widely recognised that continued close collaboration with our nearest neighbours following Brexit is a win-win. So today’s proposal will settle some nerves as it leaves the door open for the UK to play its full part in European research. There is a long way to go, and lots of detail and politics to be navigated before the UK’s future partnership on science is worked out, but this is a step in the right direction.”
