Join us on Wednesday 11 September to build a new public-centred advocacy plan for the R&D sector, at CaSE’s free to attend conference – Making R&D Matter to More People.

With the new UK Government settling in, the R&D sector has an opportunity to reset and strengthen its advocacy strategy for the years ahead. For R&D to earn a place on the list of political priorities, we must deliver a clearer and more compelling message about its value to politicians and the public.

Across this full day conference at the Royal Institution in London, you’ll hear leading experts debate the policy, advocacy, communications and public engagement opportunities that lie ahead for our sector. Kick-started with a morning talk from Professor Dame Ottoline Leyser, we’ll explore CaSE’s extensive public opinion data and trial a new generation of advocacy tools that can help our sector tell its story.

Who is the conference for?

To best explore how we can make R&D matter to more people, we are seeking attendees from across every part of our sector – including policy, advocacy and public affairs, communications, public engagement and beyond.

To support a more interactive conference, we are limiting attendee numbers for most of the sessions with the exception of the final session – Making R&D matter to government – and the networking drinks, which will be open to all (separate registration required).
